Hot Boat Deals has been a destination site for many boaters over the years to buy and sell boats. While to most people, listing a used boat for sale is easy to navigate, it's sometimes harder for others. So here is a step by step instruction list of how to post an advertisement for your boat for sale!
Step 1. Log into the system using your username and password by clicking on the login link at the upper right hand corner of the page. If you do not have an account yet, simply click register and fill in the registration form. (The information you enter is not ever seen or shared with anyone outside of Hot Boat Deals. It is simply for our contact purposes with you.)
Step 2. Using your "MySite" Menu click on the "sell my boat" link which is towards the bottom of that menu list.
Step 3. Select the type of ad you wish to post. Most will select the second option which allows you to post an ad with as many pictures and videos as you like associated with your item. The other options are for posting a Product or Service ad or setting up a vehicle or product or service "Ad Link" which merely post your item as a link to your own website instead of it being a complete ad within our system. (Make your selection and click next)
Step 4. Select the option that pertains to your item. For sale, Category, and then choose a picture file from your computer system as the main picture for your item. Now enter the Stock # or Vin, Year, Make, Model, Short Comments, and Main Description for the item.
Step 5. Submit the ad.
Step 6. Do you have more pictures? If so, click the "Yes" link ONE TIME. That will create a new photo gallery for your item to add as many pictures as you wish.
Step 7. Do you have video to upload with your item? Click the Yes link for the video section. All Videos that you upload for this item will be automatically tied to your ad. (If you already have videos uploaded to the site, you may choose them on the next page.)
Step 8. Are you finished writing and adding pictures and videos to your ad? Would you like to export your ad to other sites like craigslist or elsewhere? You can get the full code for your ad by clicking the export link to get the code for script blocking sites like craigslist and non script blocking sites like Ebay on this page.
